Line Kit Installed on a 2018 Dodge Charger RT, for use with the Catch can Z-bracket. You will need to utilized the existing rubber end fittings from the factory PCV tube because the length of the braided hoses are short for Z-bracket mounting. I had the brass double barbed coupler that came with the catch can, while it fit snugly into the braided hose end they were loose going in the factory rubber pieces and in order for the coupled hose to stay secure I had use RTV black silicone sealant on the brass fittings to the factory rubber hoses which solved the problem. Overall I give four stars for the quality of the product fall short due to they are not long enough for stand alone application for use with the Z-bracket.
*Hello James, Nick here to help you address your concern. You are correct the braided line kit hose is suppose to be used with our double male barb fittings. This is why our catch can kits come with the double male fitting when you order a can for 2011 and newer model. The PCV system is under suction where very small aerosol oil travels through. This is why no need for hose camps and the barb fittings are enough. Now rarely, if your not careful the stock rubber couple can be stretched out or maybe a little over size and in that case you may need something like a hose clamp on the car side of the system. Our kit again does not come with any hose clamps as you shouldn't need it. I called you and left you a voicemail about this also. If you have any questions please feel free to call us. Thank you for your support and feed back*
